Synopsis for "Hell Again Hell Again, Jiggety Jig"

Continued from last issue... With Jonni DC missing, Ambush Bug begins his quest to find Cheeks and stop the Interferer from messing with reality. However, along the way he in the taxi cab he is driving, he is killed when the passenger that he is driving around detonates a bomb. Rushed to the emergency room, Ambush Bug is once more blown up by another member of the group out to get him. Not finding this interesting enough, the Interferer changes reality and replays these events but in a science fiction setting.

Ambush Bug dies and ends up going to Hell, after an embarrassing set of questions, he is forced to do stand up comedy to a jeering audience. When he fails to do this, he is sentenced to spend eternity constantly dancing the jitter bug with fat people. Meanwhile, in World War II, Combat Cheeks becomes the object of affection of a wounded soldier who dies in battle. Back in Hell, Ambush Bug realizes that there is a way in by means of a conveniently placed exit door back to the land of the living, and breaks from the jitter bug line to escape.

While in deep space aboard the bureau, Ambush Bug's nemesis Argh!yle is plotting revenge against Ambush Bug, by sending his sock minions into sock drawers all over the world and granting them the ability to take control of whoever wears them. He intends to destroy Ambush Bug with the aid of his newest weapon and plan: Operation Big Boot, a sinister device built to look like one of Superman's boots.

As Ambush Bug seeks aid from his fellow Uh-Oh! Squad member the Cleaver, the secret organization that was out to kill him has recovered a fragment of his costume and hope to utilize it to duplicate his teleportation technology. The story ends with a space adventure ending and a Who's Who of the DC Universe profile for Argh!yle.
