Synopsis for "The World's Best"

During a date, Tom Strange and Princess Pantha remembered the time they fell in love. Tom Strange showed Princess Pantha his souvenirs and trophies and his gallery of friends and foes before he was contacted by Black Terror, who told him that the president wanted S.M.A.S.H., so they decided to take the Strangemobile to Washington. Meanwhile, Ms. Masque and the Fighting Spirit fought the Clock and his henchmen outside of the National Reserve Bank, attempting to stop them from robbing it before a nearby Tim Roland postponed his dinner with some congressmen to intervene.

Tom Strange and Princess Pantha met Senator Tallis in the Pentagon and the three visited the Oracle with the two S.M.A.S.H. members learning that he saw a huge metal object near Europa. The senator showed Tom Strange a photograph of what the Hubble telescope found, then an undistorted image of Andrew Bryant's ship, the Thunderbolt. Tom Strange learned that Captain Future had returned after forty-five years.
