Synopsis for "Human on the Inside"

Tired of being bossed around by the Authority, the President of the United States brought in an expert Dr. Ledbedder to destabilize the Authority's power. Dr. Ledbedder employed the Furies to attract the Authority to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where dozens of superhumans had met their ends. The Furies defeated each member of the Authority, seemingly disintegrating Swift and beating Jack Hawksmoor so badly that he was paralyzed from the waist down. On their last leg, they are rescued by a seemingly normal human martial artist, Danny Chan. As the Authority recoups in the Carrier, they invite Danny to join the crew. With Hawksmoor incapacitated and the Doctor chasing highs after being kissed by the Furies, Jackson King takes over as the leader of the Authority.
