Quote1 It always starts the same, with a bolt. You were five when you were struck--it was in the news, a miracle that a young boy was hit by lightning and survived. But it wasn't lightning. It was a burst of a strange energy and it changed you. The same energy touched all of us. It changed us all, each in our own way. The energy chose us. It didn't turn us into monsters. It made us gods. Quote2

Synopsis for "Creation Myths"

In the remnants of the Aztec empire in 1520, Magali was surrounded by conquistadors before seeing an elderly Eobard Thawne, who offered to protect her if she made him young again with her powers. Magali agreed and Thawne fulfilled his end of the promise and used his speed to break the conquistadors' spears. Then, Thawne asked her to join him in "protecting the world" from a "demon called Flash."

In 1883, at Kimberly Mine, South Africa, a colonist spotted Folded Man stealing diamonds, moments before he disappeared and returned to his wife. As he hid the diamonds in a hole, Thawne and Magali appeared behind him before the men from the mines came to his village. Thawne offered to help him in exchange for him joining them, which the latter agreed to.

In 1957, at a carnival in Melbourne, people paid to punch the Human Block, who was "tough as granite" before one provoked her by insulting her people. Thawne, Folded Man, and Magali intervened and took her away before introducing themselves and recrutied her.

In 1982, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, a category F-5 tornado with a human-like figure inside was reported before Thawne and his allies stopped him before offering to help him control his power and asking him to help them stop the Flash.

In the present, the Acolytes of Zoom sparred with Professor Zoom's teammates defeating him. Professor Zoom claimed that they could not kill the Flash unless they revealed him as "the greatest evil the world has ever faced." Magali asked Professor Zoom how he knew where to find the Flash, although the time traveler merely claimed that he had seen a "world broken and shattered" and that some things are "better lost to time."

In 1982, a nurse attempted to give Roscoe his medicine, but Thawne swiped it away, making the boy believe that it wasn't working and causing him to create a tornado. In 1957, a disguised Thawne approached the man who would later insult the Human Block and offered him five dollars in exchange for one for beating the rigged game and also offered to help win. In 1883, Thawne approached the armed men at Kimberly Mine and gave away Folded Man's position and planted one diamond on his wife, leading the gunmen to attack the village. In 1520, an elderly Thawne approached the conquistadors and led them to Magali on a journey that took weeks.
