Throttle is a henchmen of Sonar, one of the enemies of Green Lantern.
History
He frequently works alongside his partner Blindside. During a prison breakout lead by Sonar, the three crooks managed to get the upper hand against Green Lanterns John Stewart and Katma Tui, with Throttle giving the coup de grace by accelerating various items in the prison, ricocheting and knocking the Green Lanterns out. He later almost killed Katma by speeding her heart beat, until John stopped him.[1]
During the Crisis on Infinite Earths, he was one of the villains recruited into Guy Gardner's suicide mission to the Antimatter Universe of Qward.[2] Back on Earth, Sonar's group teamed up again, along with Doctor Polaris' group, to attack the contingent of Green Lanterns that settled in Los Angeles. However, the combined power of seven Green Lanterns were too much for them, and they were forced to retreat.[3]

Powers
- Molecular Acceleration: Throttle can accelerate any moving thing, such as a clock or even a human heart, causing lethal pain to the victim.[1]
Notes
- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
