The Trefoils are common bird's-foot trefoils which were mutated by radiation from World War III in 1986; as result, these are mobile, sentient plants.
History
At first the trefoils were agressive to humans. The Atomic Knights realized that the trefoils were extremely depndent of water, and used this knowledge to defeat them.[1] Abner Henderson grew a secondary strain of the trefoils, more pacific than the original ones, and used them to reopen his car factory in Detroit. One of the trefoils even serves as waiter in a Durvale restaurant.[2]

Powers

- The Trefoils can project berries from their bodies upon enemies, which can be concussive or expel a poisonous gas.[1]
- Super-proliferation[1]
Weaknesses
- Vulnerability to lack of water[1]: The original strain of the trefoils had high dependency of water in order to survive.
- Pacifism: The secondary strain of the trefoils were pacifist at a point where they would be paralysed in the presence of violence.[2]
