Synopsis for "Slayride In July"

An unemployed man murders his neighbor and buries the body by the roadside. The following day his wife and daughter go shopping and the child buys a dancing doll which she leaves in the back of the car. The man panics when he can't locate the dead man's wallet feeling it may incriminate him in the killing, and feeling that he may have dropped it when burying the body, drives back out to the scene of the crime at night. He sees the shadow of the doll and his guilty conscience makes him believe that he is seeing the ghost of the murdered man. He gets into a fatal car accident. The police notify the widow and she arrives on the scene with the little girl who asks to retrieve her doll from the wrecked car.

Synopsis for "Skeleton In The Classroom"

A crusty old banker by the name of Mr Wheeler threatens to shut down a local medical school who is in desperate need of funds. He also reveals that he is dying from a fatal illness but no doctor has been able to help him. He loathes doctors and reiterates that he will not help the school. Mr Wheeler then disappears and is never seen again. The scene changes to a new term at the medical school in which a new class of students is being welcomed. The professor remarks that the new term was made possible by an unknown benefactor as he points to Wheelers skeleton on a table.

Synopsis for "Death Rides the Raging Wind"

A father by the name of Buck Evans works as a pilot in the Florida Keys. He flies off in bad weather and is never heard from again. His family is devastated especially his young son Hank. Hank erects a tall beacon in hopes that his father will see it and come home but there is little hope. In the meantime a pair of wanted criminals break into the Evans household to escape an oncoming hurricane. They take the son and mother hostage along with a couple of neighbors who happened to be visiting. The criminals become violent and demanding as the night goes on. Hank breaks away and attempts to use a radio to contact his dad but the criminals immediately stop him. The storm rages when a blurry figure appears at the door of the home. The criminals shoot at the figure but they are so frightened that they flee in fear and drive their vehicle off a cliff in the blinding rain. The mother and son knew that Buck Evans would not be returning but he had somehow managed to save them in their hour of need.
