The Viking Prince is a Scandinavian warrior and hero in the 10th Century. He is usually portrayed as the amnesiac son to King Rikk, battling against his enemy Thorvald. Despite having no powers, he is an expert in the tactics and weaponry of his time. Later he was frozen in ice, and fought alongside Sgt. Rock in World War II. He has been a member of the Five Warriors From Forever and part of the The War that Time Forgot and Endless Winter. His descendant Jon Rikkson becomes an environmental crusader and meets Batman during Destiny. Viking Prince was created by Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert, first appearing in The Brave and the Bold #1. (1955)
