Synopsis for "The Corpse That Wouldn't Die!"

Charles Venable arrived at the estate of Charles Granger, a researcher studying a Sanskrit book on sorcery to attain the power of bringing the dead to life and returning it to the grave. However, something kept incessantly banging on the study door. When confronted about it, Carl revealed that he and his brother Andrew were studying sorcery, though Andrew was far more talented at it. In a fit of jealousy, Carl murdered his brother - but the Corpse returned night after night, growing stronger and bolder each time.

As Venable attempted to leave, the Corpse broke into the inner house to finally get revenge on his brother. Unable to find the spell in time to return Andrew Granger to the grave, Venable could only call the police, revealing the deceased Granger brothers' grisly studies.
