Wildstorm: Revelations #5 is an issue of the series Wildstorm: Revelations (Volume 1) with a cover date of May, 2008.

Synopsis for "Truth or Consequences; or, Things Fall Apart..."

While Savant tries to convince Zealot and Grifter that they're trying to avert Armageddon, Zealot and Nemesis get into a confrontation. Nemesis taunts Zealot about the fact that she still has not told Savant the truth - that Zealot is her real mother. When a group of party-goers from a nearby balcony begin egging-on the fight, all the heroes involved decide to take their disagreement back inside.

Savant tells Grifter and Zealot of the future Nemesis saw and their mission in gathering information on the "lost generation" of post-humans in hopes of finding a way to prevent the apocalypse from happening. She pulls files on Miles Craven, Henry Bendix, and Zebulon McCandless. Grifter points out the intel is outdated as Craven is dead along with Bendix, but he doesn't recognize McCandless. However, he believes Craven is the key to what they are looking for, as he was responsible for setting up John Colt to impersonate Kaizen Gamorra for decades, in which Grifter also believes that Gamorra kept Colt's records. Meanwhile, Zealot and Nemesis privately talk about the latter's refusal to reveal her parentage to Savant.

Grifter later takes a smoke break out on the roof but only to be confronted by Marc Slayton and Department P.S.I. troopers, who they demand Grifter to stand aside. However, Grifter holds them at bay until everyone is able to teleport to safety to Stonehenge, where its magnetic ley lines makes it difficult for P.S.I. to find them. Savant then covers up their tracks by dialing up a singularity that obliterated her converted loft after Marc and his men barely escaped. Zealot and Grifter decide to part ways with the girls, but not before the former swears to Nemesis that sooner or later she will offend someone who will be less forgiving.

The girls travel to Nemesis' home, where it has been raided by the Authority who had confiscated her weapons. With no point staying, they decide to follow what Grifter informed them: they determine that they must go to Gamorra Island. They booked passage on an airliner and then made a HALO jump over the outlaw nation.

They infiltrate Kaizen Gamorra's palace, where Savant access and downloads computer files in Gamorra's throne room, in which the data reveals a downed Daemonite spacecraft and the "Krigstein Initiative" that recommends a "final solution" for dangerous post-humans following the end of World War II. But Gamorra soon discovers their infiltration and has them captured.
