Synopsis for Wonder Woman: "Renewal on Paradise Island"

After Princess Diana rescues the new Steve Trevor and heals him with her Purple Healing Ray, Queen Hippolyte asks Aphrodite where he came from. She responds that he is from the Earth of another dimension, and even she has no power to send him back there. Since it is as though Diana was meeting Steve Trevor for the first time, and since Diana must return to Man's World, Aphrodite extends the Mists of Nepenthe over the Earth, causing all people to forget the existence of the other Steve Trevor who died years ago. Once again, Diana competes against the Amazons for the right to go into Man's World, and wins the costume and title of Wonder Woman. Just before Wonder Woman returns with Steve to America, Hippolyte begs him, "Don't hurt her again," which mystifies Trevor.

Synopsis for The Huntress: "Into Darkness Once More"

On Earth-Two, Helena Wayne, aka the Huntress, stands over her parents' graves, thinking that she'd learned everything from her father, the Batman, and mother, Catwoman, but she reflects back on earlier events.

The day started with her being called out of her office at the Cranston, Grayson and Wayne law firm to be met by an acquaintance, a very distraught artist, Winston Pitt. He was beside himself with grief that due to negligence and poor security shown by a museum, three of his paintings were burned while they hung on the wall. Soon, she checked out the damage at the museum and is appalled at the lack of security and the burnt condition of Winston's paintings. She went to see Sidney, a local fence, and threatened him to tell her what he knew about the incident but he said he knew nothing.

Back in the present, Helena goes to her apartment for some sleep but is disturbed by a visit from District Attorney Harry Sims, who apologizes for his previous behavior and asks her for advice on a problem he has. She tells him he'll have to wait for a while as she needs her sleep, and orders him to leave. Instead of sleeping, though, she heads back to the museum because she just realized Winston's signature on the burned paintings wasn't his so they must be forgeries. She can't make any sense out of it.

Once inside the museum she watches as the curator, attended by guards, opens the storage vault to retrieve paintings to replace the burned Pitt canvases. Suddenly none other than Solomon Grundy and some thugs barge in and tell them to take out all the paintings and give them to him. Helena has doubts whether she's quite up to taking on this powerhouse.
