The First of the Fallen, also known as The Devil and Satan, is the first fallen Angel and the leader of the Triumvirate of Hell.
History
Origins
Eons ago, the First of the Fallen rebelled against the Kingdom of Heaven and God cast out him to Hell, the kingdom of Demons and the final destination for Damned souls.[1] Here, the First ruled with Belial and Beelzebub, forming the Triumvirate of Hell.[2][3]
When God created several candidates to marry Adam, the first human, only Eve agreed to become his wife, while her sisters Lilith, Lamashtu, Durgia, and Naamah, preferred to join the First of the Fallen as the demonic goddesses of Hell. The demon Nahash disguised himself as a serpent and tempted Eve to eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge on Garden of Eden. Eve eventually ate the fruit and gave some to Adam, who also ate. When God learns of their transgression, he banishes them from the garden.[4]
Reign as the Devil
At some point, the blues musician Willie Cole sold his soul to Satan for fame. In the 1930s, Satan came to claim his soul while he was recording at a studio, resulting in his demonic voice being recorded on the Willie's acetate. Anyone who picks up the record will become tempted to play it, and if they listen to the voice, the person will fall prey to Satan. 80 years later, a woman discovered the acetate and activated the curse, forcing John Constantine to throw it into Hell.[2]
In 2019, Ray Palmer was sent to Hell because of Neron's plan, forcing Constantine to return to Hell to rescue his friend. Constantine confronted Satan and the Triumvirate, offering them his soul in exchange for Ray's. However, the higher demons proposed him to save his beloved Astra, so Constantine accepted their offer but he discovered this was just a trick as the girl desired to stay in Hell where she had grown up.[3]

- Fallen Angel Physiology: As the first fallen angel and ruler of Hell, the First possesses great supernatural power.

- Flight: Through the use of his large wings, satan is able to fly.
- Dimensional Travel: The First of the Fallen has the ability to travel back and forth from Hell and Earth at will.
- Immortality: As a fallen angel and ruler of Hell, the First is functionally immortal, and cannot die by any ordinary means.
- Necromancy: The First of the Fallen has control over souls that are sold to him.
- Mind Control: The First of the Fallen's presence alone, is enough to warp every human mind in creating chaos and bloodshed.
- Power Distribution: He created and gave dark powers to demons.
- Wings
- Dark Magic: The first is adept in manipulating dark mystical forces.
