The Fastest Man Alive faces a mad scientist who has invented a machine capable of tracking the Flash at the speed of light and destroying him with purple lightning.

Fred, Pedro and Slim are members of the French Foreign Legion. They're ordered to bomb some innocent villagers, but instead they drop their bombs in the desert. Their own planes explode, due to sabotage, and the three are killed.
Rather than going on to their final "resting place," they decide, as ghosts, to use their new status to continue fighting the Germans.
