Synopsis for "Simple Simon Met the Hawkman"
Simon Atwell grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, idolizing gangsters, but watching their downfall as he grew older. By examining their defeats, he believes he's found the reason for them: they put too much emphasis on looking powerful and impressive, and not enough on just getting the job done. He proves his modus operandi effective by committing a series of profitable robberies by only using simple implements and making sure to leave no clues. Unfortunately, he left one and let himself be seen by Hawkman at a dive bar paying for the glass he used in the commission of his first robbery. Though Simon manages to sprain Hawkman's ankle with a bowling ball, the hero can still fly, and carts him off to jail.
