Synopsis for Hawkman: "Riddle of the Stolen Statuette"

A thief steals priceless art treasures, but isn't found carrying them when searched by security personnel. He starts selling replicas of the stolen treasures to art collectors, but is caught by Hawkman, who determines that the reason the originals weren't found on him is he never snuck them out of the museums where he stole them. He just wanted to carry out what seemed like a flashy theft so the media would carry the news they were stolen, so unscrupulous collectors would be willing to buy the replicas he was peddling.
