Synopsis for Hawkman: "The Harp That Told a Lie"

Carter and Shiera are visiting with collector Kerry Kelley, who's obsessed with artifacts from historical Ireland. The pride of his collection's an ancient harp, which resonates with wooden paneling he had imported from the old country. Meanwhile, however, a destitute fellow named Carr loudly resents Kerry's fortune in a seedy bar and is overhead by a posse of opportunistic thieves. They convince Carr to lead them to Kerry's mansion, and a brawl breaks out between the crooks and a responding Hawkman, but Carr knocks the hero out while he's distracted. Hawkman and Hawkgirl trail the thieves to a fence, who's already had a dozen copies of the prize harp made, but is looking forward to all he can make offloading the real one. The heroes dive in and beat up all the gunmen, but in the fracas, the real harp's lost until Kerry takes it back to his house and sees which one resonates with the paneling. Seeing Carr's convinced him to stop living in the past surrounded by ancient treasures, though. Kerry plans to donate his collection to a museum and use his money to do good in the present, like giving Carr honest work.
