Synopsis for "Cold-Hearted: Part One"

Leonard Snart is a hero of Central City under the alias Citizen Cold, but his heroics is mainly motivated by wealth and fanfare. He interferes with Mr. Freeze, who was attacking Central City's S.T.A.R. Labs searching for a cure for his lover Nora Fries. During the battle Cold freezes Mr. Freeze's body, causing Freeze to eject his head from his frozen body and attempt to escape. Cold, after saving reporter Iris West and cameraman Wally West in the process, catches Mr. Freeze and reveals to him that he orchestrated the battle between them - meaning there is no cure for Nora and that she is already dead - before heartlessly killing him. Despite what Citizen Cold had done, and the extent of his brutal treatments, the public still adores him as their savior.

Meanwhile, at Iron Heights Penitentiary, the imprisoned Rogues are bitter enemies of Cold. Mirror Master, who is believed to be killed by Cold but is actually imprisoned in his mirrors because of his near death state, visits Iron Heights and assembles the Rogues, Weather Wizard, Tar Pit, and Fallout.

Later that night, Cold attends a party with the mayor of Central City and returns to his home, where he shockingly sees a news report hosted by Iris West that his sister, Lisa, has been arrested for killing their brutal father. Furthermore, his sister will be detained in Iron Heights for the time being. As Snart stands motionless, Wally West spies on him and discovers his true identity to be a low-level criminal. Wally tries to spy more on Snart but is seen by him. Wally quickly flees the scene, but is eventually caught and frozen by Cold before he can reveal anything to Iris West.
