Synopsis for "My Revenge"
In a flashback from Eobard Thawne, The Flash (Barry Allen), stands over him, he has been defeated, again. He remembers when he was going to be the Flash of the 25th century. He thought that everyone would love him, just like they loved Barry Allen, but no, they were frightened of him. He idolized Barry, wanted to be just like him. But for what he did, he could never forgive him, he is going to destroy his future. He traveled back to the day that Barry caught his first crook. No, he should go back further. To the day he first discovered that he had amazing abilities. No, further, to the day when he was struck by lightning. He wonders, what would happen if the beakers never fell on to him, what if the bolt never hit him. What if it all happened to Thawne? But as he reached out to embrace his new destiny, the bolt moved right through him, and hit Barry, setting the future in motion. It was then that he realized that without Barry, he wouldn't exist. So he must let his greatest enemy, live. Or he will die. He remembers when he first got his powers, and foolishly attacked Barry. He soon realized that in order to attack Barry he must do so through his heart, by kidnapping Iris. He had to die to figure out that this is foolish. He had a new plan, to attack Barry's childhood. He did many petty things to make his life miserable, until one day, he stole from Barry, his best friend, Doug. Barry never had a best friend. One day, as Barry prepared for school and said goodbye to his mother, Eobard Thawne went too far. Right as Barry left, and his father went to work, there was a knock at the door. She answered, and there before her, stood Thawne. And he uttered the future altering words, "Time to die, Mrs. Allen."
