Flodo Span is a member of the Green Lantern Corps.

History

Flodo Span was a sentient gas from Inner Tasnia, whose body was incorporated by a Green Lantern Ring in order to fight against Sinestro who was paired with a sentient Green Lantern sector. After fighting against and killing several Lanterns, such as Driq, the space sector was finally defeated by Span who spread his volume to encompass the entire sector and then by sheer force of will, contracted himself to contain and destroy the space sector.

Like many Green Lanterns, Flodo was seen on Oa resurrected as a Black Lantern .
