The second Black Orchid used the name Flora Black.

History

She was one of a greenhouse full of human/plant hybrid clones of Susan Linden, created by Dr. Philip Sylvain. After Linden was killed, her ex-husband Carl Thorne sought out and killed Sylvain. He torched the greenhouse, leaving only two alive: A mature one and a child one, Suzy. They had limited memories of Linden, and the elder had less than the younger.

Thorne and a LexCorp hit squad followed them to Brazil, but the hit squad, enthralled by the hybrids' perfection, turned on Thorne and killed him.

Black later used pheromone manipulation to break and marry millionaire Elliot Weems to claim his fortune and company business as her own.
