Floyd Lawton is the original Deadshot.

History

Floyd Lawton was the assassin known as Deadshot. He retired following the birth of his daughter, Zoe, until he discovered the existence of an impostor. Floyd decided to return to action to hunt down his impersonator, an act that led to a falling out between him and Zoe. Deadshot was eventually able to kill his doppelgänger, only to be arrested by Green Lantern and imprisoned in Arkham Asylum.
