Fog (disambiguation)

The Fog is the name of two unrelated metahuman individuals in the DC Universe. The first is Nebel, a Nazi metahuman and the partner of Night, able to transform into a noxious fog and asphyxiate his enemies. The second is Byron Shelley, a Brotherhood of Dada member who could also transform into a cloud, but he could absorb the souls of anyone he touched in his fog form.

The Fog was created by Roy Thomas, Paul Kupperberg, and Arvell Jones, first appearing in All-Star Squadron #44 (1985), while Byron Shelley was created by Grant Morrison and Richard Case, first appearing in Doom Patrol (Volume 2) #26 (1989).
