The Empress is the ruler of the Fraction.
History
The Empress is the product of thousands of generations of genetic engineering and selective breeding to create the perfect ruler. During her reign, the Fraction's Scientia discovered the means to tap into the Speed Force.
With the power of the Force, the Fraction were able to rapidly develop and colonise their entire star system in a matter of hours, but in so doing they destroyed the natural environment of their homeworld and grew until the resources of their system were no longer enough to support them. The Empress charged the captain of her guard Vel Anhtro to journey out and plunder new worlds to feed the Fraction's ravenous hunger. He agreed, but only if she would grant him her hand in marriage. He was almost executed on the spot for his impudence but the Empress assented to marry him once he had secured enough resources to restore their world to its once beautiful pristine state.

- Artificial Conduit Throne: Like all members of the Fraction, the Empress uses technology to artificially tap into the Speed Force. While other members of the Fraction wear harnesses to tap into the Force, the Empress's conduit is built into her throne.
