- This issue takes place at the same time as OMAC (Volume 4) #5 and tell the same story from the different characters' perspectives.
- The editor's note suggests reading that issue first, but it's unnecessary toward understanding the plot of this story.
- Similarly to the Pre-Flashpoint continuity, Frankenstein claims that his sword once belonged to the Archangel Michael. However, this is false because, as of this story, that sword belongs to Zauriel.
