Fred Farrell, Jr., known as Fireman Farrell, was a fire fighter who served in both Gotham City and Metropolis.
History
Fred Farrell, Jr. was the son of Fred Farrell, Sr., a Center City fireman who had died in the line of duty, and Fred, Jr. followed in his father's footsteps. Notes
- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
- Fireman Farrell was introduced in his own "try-out" comic: Showcase #1, which had three stories starring Farrell. While this did not lead to a series for the character, he would pop up in various DC Universe stories for decades to come.
