The Freedom Fighters is a team brought together by Uncle Sam to protect America's interests during the Second World War. Later a new version of the team was put together by a new Uncle Sam.
History
Notes
- Freedom Fighters was created by Len Wein and Dick Dillin, first appearing in Justice League of America #107. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Freedom Fighters first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Phantom Lady #4 by Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray, and Jerry Ordway.
