Freya was a horse given to Princess Diana on her sixteenth birthday.

History

Despite her misgivings about birthday celebrations Antiope gave Princess Diana the horse Freya for her sixteenth, while trying to cheer her up about not being as powerful as the adult Amazons. Diana spent most of her birthday riding the island on Freya and fretting about her future among the Amazons, though that night her future would be sealed as separate from her people when she passed beyond the borders of the island's mystical barrier when she swam beyond it to rescue drowning refugees.
