Frida Novikov is a Russian metahuman known as Turtle on Earth-Prime.

History

Frida Novikov was born in Russia where she became a famous drug dealer until her arrest; some time later, she escaped her prison and traveled to the United States of America.

At some point in time before 2020, she obtained the metahuman power of manipulate time around her, gaining the moniker of Turtle after also wearing a suit similar to the one of first Turtle; she also fought Team Flash.

In March 2020, she returned to Central City to murder one of the two informants, Maria Valkova, who allowed her arrest in the past. Using her abilities, Frida made Maria's plan crash, but she was saved by Wally West aka Kid Flash; eventually, she murdered her Maria after following her to CC Jitters.

After she broke into the Central City Police Department to know the whereabouts of the second informant, Olga Zhuravlev, Turtle confronted both the Flash and Kid Flash. Despite using her powers to slow down the speedsters, the two superheroes managed to survive her attacks until Turtle II was injected with the Velocity X formula, causing the supervillain to be arrested by Joe West.

• Cisco Ramon referred to Frida as Turtle 2.0 in the Cisco's Who's Who? Binder, a book where his Post-Crisis self recorded every metahuman Team Flash fought.
• It is unknown if Frida also existed in the Pre-Crisis continuity.
