Quote1 I'm aware my... most recent employer no longer has a financial move to make in this... skirmish... but I'm going to keep pushing ahead anyway, because it amuses me. My... other employers have watched you for some time and wondered, what could we take from the man who has nothing? Quote2
G. Glen Godfrey src

G. Glen Godfrey was a corporate saboteur that attempted to bring down Wayne-Powers.

Past Employment

On the payroll of Kord Industries, Godfred helped Bialyan Nationals overthrown the regime ruling Bialya. Bialyan Nationals nationalizing the nation's uranium mines led to an economic collapse, allowing Kord to to swoop in. He later helped Fastfile Computing with stocks, but when those investments fell through, Godfrey surprisingly walked about with a large sum of cash.[1]

Targeting Wayne

Working for the super-villain Blight, Godfrey was put in charge of Wayne-Powers' union.[2] He got the union to ask for unreasonable labor demands and convinced them to riot should Bruce Wayne fail to deliver. Even after Blight no longer had a stake in the matter, Godfrey continued to hound Wayne, both for his personal enjoyment and for his other undisclosed employers, who had a grudge against Wayne. Unfortunately for Godfrey, Bruce called his bluff and actually exceeded the union's demands. Since the union no longer hungered for violence, he was left with no choice but to leave Gotham City.[3]
