History

Gadsden Graves was the CFO of McKinney Enterprises, the company he helped set up with his youth friend, Winston McKinney. Frustrated about always being in the shadows and reveiving no credit for his achievements, he became Cipher. While comitting several grand schemes that attracted the JLA's attention, he secretly bankrupted McKinney.
