History

Garfield Logan was affected with a rare disease during a trip to Africa. His parents administered an untested serum, which successfully cured him, but also turned his skin and hair green and allowed him to turn into any animal. Taking the alias "Beast Boy," Gar bounced around the superhero community until finding a home among the Titans.
