The Sandman is a dream entity and superhero who travels into people's dreams and stops their nightmares from becoming reality with his sidekicks Brute and Glob. He has been active for years without people noticing.
History
Sandman was sent to rescue Forager from a dream he was trapped in, only to discover that Forager was being used as bait for a trap set by General Electric. The villain somehow had a copy of Sandman's Orichalcum whistle which was used to trap him.
