Garryn Bek is a founding member of the inter-galactic police force L.E.G.I.O.N. and a native of the planet Cairn. Despite his lack of combat skills, he is an excellent bureaucratic administrator and pilot. Through connection to the Emerald Eye of Ekron, he has also displayed incredible powers. His wife is Marij'n Bek, daughter of their world's greatest crime-lord Kanis Biz. He has also been a member of the R.E.B.E.L.S.. Garryn Bek was created by Keith Giffen, Bill Mantlo and Todd McFarlane, first appearing in Invasion! #1. (1989)
