"Nature vs. Nurture": The members of Gen 13 are visiting the aquarium in Baltimore when they are recognized by Copycat, Frostbite, and Sublime of DV8 who have taken jobs there.  Gen 13 soon recognizes them as well, and, conditioned to see each other as enemies, the two teams attack each other. 

Gen-Active #1 is an issue of the series Gen-Active (Volume 1) with a cover date of May, 2000.

Synopsis for "Nature vs. Nurture"

The members of Gen 13 are visiting the aquarium in Baltimore when they are recognized by Copycat, Frostbite, and Sublime of DV8 who have taken jobs there.  Gen 13 soon recognizes them as well, and, conditioned to see each other as enemies, the two teams attack each other.  The ensuing battle destroys much of the aquarium, and Rainmaker uses her powers to protect bystanders by pushing the water and marine life out to sea.  DV8 wins the fight and debates whether to kill the unconscious Gen 13.  Realizing much of what Ivana Baiul told them was lies, they decide not to.  Gen 13 wakes up, surprised they are still alive.

Synopsis for "Iced"

At the Sastrugga company in San Francisco, scientists start up an experimental ice-fusion reactor.  Immediately, a woman made of sentient freon gas bursts out of the reactor.  She is Jean Thaw a.k.a Cryo-Genie, the designer of the ice-fusion process who supposedly died in an accident.  She accuses the lead scientist of engineering the accident in order to steal her research.  Security personnel arrive, but she overpowers them by attacking them with “ice-borg” drones. She kills the lead scientist and retrieves the process data, stored on disk, from the main drive.  Just then, the masked vigilante Jet arrives and snatches the disk from her hand.  Using superhuman speed, Jet defeats the ice-borgs and lures Cryo-Genie into venting hot gases, destroying her.  Later, the police arrive and find the disk taped to the wall.

Synopsis for "Fish Head"

Bliss and Evo drive a stolen car into New York with the former owner's severed arms still clinging to the rear bumper.  They pull over to deal with a flat tire, and Evo finds a case in the back with components of an armored suit inside.  Bliss reads a note that came with it and decides to deliver the case to its intended recipient, mafia boss Mario Marquis.  While Evo waits outside, she enters Marquis's office and offers him the case in exchange for money.  But, it turns out the owner of the car she and Evo stole was Marquis's godson, and so Marquis's bodyguard attacks her.  Evo comes to her aid, and Bliss offers the bodyguard's life in exchange for money.  Marquis declines, Evo decapitates the bodyguard, and he and Bliss leave with the case.  Later, the two attend a baseball game at Yankee Stadium.
