Synopsis for "Hangin' Part 1"
Gen 13 is dancing at a night club when a tentacled creature bursts through the floor and attacks. The team destroys it but not before it suffocates Freefall. They take her home where Lynch places her in stasis, and Anna declares her brain dead. The team mourns not knowing Roxy is watching them all as a disembodied spirit. She is joined by the ghost of a woman named Cassandra who committed suicide to escape her Gen-Active telepathy. Cassandra shows Roxy a shining energy barrier to the afterlife she calls Mr. Bulb. Neither of them can pass through until they resolve their affairs among the living. Roxy is upset as the other members of Gen 13 seemingly move on with their lives, unaware that they are all thinking about her. Lynch gathers the team and flies them into the desert to investigate a strange vortex that has appeared. Roxy and Cassandra ride along and fly into the vortex. Inside, they find Trance and his team, the Freaks. Trance is controlling Lynch's mind and is generating the vortex using the equipment hooked up to Freefall's body.
