Gen 13 #3 is an issue of the series Gen 13 (Volume 1) with a cover date of April, 1994.

Synopsis for "Payback!"

Fairchild watches from a distance as an armed convoy enters the Project Genesis compound. Ivana Baiul is outraged by the intrusion as Black Razors bring in some kind of captured creature.  Her anger turns to surprise when John Lynch steps out of a vehicle and explains the convoy is under his command.  Fairchild sneaks into the compound and overcomes two guards as Lynch and Baiul argue over the Gen 13 program.  They watch via monitor as Threshold tortures Grunge and holds the other Gen 13 teens captive.  Meanwhile, Caitlin opens a cell and frees a young boy named Timmy.  In the detention area, Bliss taunts the captive creature who is actually Timmy's companion, the hybrid warrior Pitt.  Bliss spots Fairchild fleeing with Timmy and attacks even as Pitt breaks free of his cage.  Scared, Bliss flees.  Caitlin misreads the situation and lunges at Pitt, starting a fight.  Threshold hurts Roxy, enraging Grunge and triggering his powers.  He knocks out Threshold and frees the others.  Fairchild and Pitt battle through several sub-levels until they crash into Baiul's control room.  The two realize they should be allies just as Lynch has Black Razors ready their weapons to fire.
