Synopsis for "WildStorm Rising, Chapter 4: Beach Blanket Brawl!"

Lynch watches a news broadcast about an attack on a U.S. Air Force base in New Mexico and recognizes the perpetrator as his old enemy Helmut.  Elsewhere, the Daemonite lord Defile believes Lynch may possess one of the starship keys he seeks.  Trance, who met Roxy at the San Diego night club, approaches Defile and gives him Lynch's location in exchange for the secrets of Miles Craven.  Defile then orders Helmut to capture Lynch.  In La Jolla, Bobby and Grunge go skateboarding while Caitlin, Roxy, and Sarah sunbathe by the pool.  Roxy complains to Sarah about Grunge's attraction to Fairchild, but Sarah shocks Roxy by expressing her own attraction to Caitlin.  Lynch is discussing Helmut with Caitlin when the villain suddenly attacks.  Fairchild and Rainmaker fight him until Lynch, aware that Helmut has a vulnerability to sound, has Burnout use a guitar and amplifier to stun him.  Lynch then has Grunge deactivate Helmut's armor, rendering him powerless.  The team takes a picture of themselves with a captured Helmut similar to a picture of Lynch with a captive Helmut taken years ago.
