Synopsis for "To Boldly Go...Where No Gen Has Gone Before!"

Caitlin and Roxy find themselves captive with aliens of various species.  One of them, Kobeh, speaks English and explains they are aboard a Noaamite ship on their way to be sold as merchandise. In the ship laboratory, the Noaamites experiment on Grunge and accidentally cause him to mutate.  Fairchild and Freefall help Kobeh and the other aliens escape the holding pens and hijack the ship.  They search for Grunge, and Roxy finds him mutated into a mindless alien form.  He attacks Caitlin, but Kobeh injects with him a vaccine that restores his humanity. Kobeh explains that the Noaamite experimentation combined with a disease in Grunge's bloodstream caused the metamorphosis.  Caitlin deduces Grunge contracted the virus when he was a captive of the Coda.  Just then, the ship emerges from hyperspace on a collision course with a much larger spacecraft.  On Earth, a much older Burnout and Rainmaker sneak into Manhattan, unaware that an aged, ruthless Lynch already senses their presence.
