Synopsis for "A Firm Grip on Reality!"
While Tindalos's scientists experiment on Grunge's hand, Gen 13 has taken refuge at the Halo Corporation. Lynch and Grifter discuss Isaiah, recognizing him from their time with IO, and speculate about his condition. At Tindalos Tech in North Carolina, henchman Keefhus explains to a colleague that they use Isaiah as a tracker. He is drawn to other Gen-Actives, and they follow him. Borrowing a plane from Halo, Gen 13 flies over the company headquarters knowing that Tindalos built the original Keeper and Black Hammer prototypes for IO. Caitlin divebombs the facility only to be attacked by Tindalos himself, now enhanced by genes taken from Grunge. In a bar in Melanesia, a courier finds Alex Fairchild, still depressed and under the belief Caitlin is dead, and hands him an envelope. Tindalos defeats Caitlin then Burnout while Grunge recovers and reabsorbs his missing hand. He then knocks out Tindalos by using his martial arts skill instead of his powers. After the team leaves, Tindalos comes to, once again unable to walk.
