Synopsis for "That Was Then"

Gen 13 practices mock combat on the beach, and Alex criticizes the team for poor coordination and lack of teamwork.  Frustrated, he berates them and storms off.  Elsewhere, Lynch is canoeing on a river when he is attacked by a crocodile. He fights it off and climbs ashore only to learn it is an animal actor in a movie filming on location.  The director offers Lynch food and an acting job.  At IO, Keepers arrive with another captured Gen-Active subject, and Ivana Baiul calls her mysterious business partner to thank him for upgrading the Keepers' armor.  At the bar down the beach from Gen 13's home, Alex's mercenary colleagues arrive looking for him, and Larry the gambler points them to a local conspiracy theorist who has been spying on Gen 13.  Caitlin works out her frustrations while Grunge defends Alex and his behavior to Roxy.  Offshore, the conspiracy theorist is watching from his boat when the mercenaries come aboard.

Synopsis for "No Good Deed"

While visiting a carnival, Burnout orders a corn dog from a vendor but is disappointed to learn the fryer is broken.  He decides to use his powers to fix it and ends up spending the entire day cooking and serving corn dogs.  At the end of the day, the vendor thanks him by giving him a corn dog for free, but he no longer wants it.
