Gen 13 (Volume 2) with a cover date of July, 1999.
Synopsis for "Death and the Broken Promise part 3"
At a bar after Alex's funeral, Caitlin recalls Gen 13 and the surviving members of Team 7 attending. On Lynch's advice, she goes to comfort Roxy, and they discuss their feelings for their father. At IO, Ivana Baiul drags her exhausted scientist out of the shower to continue his work on the modified Keepers. Lynch and Caitlin visit Sigma in the hospital and assuage his feelings of guilt over what happened. Afterward, they return to the cemetery, and Lynch apologizes for leaving the team and pushing Caitlin away. She confesses that she distanced herself from him because of the crazed, power-mad version of him she met in the future. Lynch takes it in and the two reconcile. As she stands over her father's grave, Caitlin remembers trying to talk him down as he unleashed his powers on Tindalos. At that point, though, he could no longer maintain control and told Caitlin and Gen 13 to run just before he exploded. Refusing to remember him like that, she chooses instead to remember the toast he made to the team the night they made dinner for him.
