Synopsis for "The Grunge That Ate Manhattan!"
In Manhattan, Gen 13 arrives undercover at their new home, the presidential suite of the Omni-Seasons Hotel. As they settle in, Lynch explains that Max Faraday dismantled IO so the team can now live openly. Later, Caitlin visits a library and meets a handsome photographer named Michael Monday. While Roxy and Sarah relax at a spa, Lynch and Bobby go to a strip club and discover one of the strippers is another of Bobby's foster sisters. Back at the hotel, a woman dressed as a maid walks in on Grunge, begins seducing him, and then alters his genes with her superhuman powers. After Roxy and Sarah leave the spa, they are attacked on the street by Grunge who has mutated into a giant, ape-like form. He then abducts Caitlin from the library and climbs the Empire State Building. Freefall follows while Rainmaker goes and gets Burnout and Lynch. Grunge flings Fairchild across the city, and she happens to land by crashing into Monday's studio. Rainmaker shocks Grunge with a lightning bolt, and he reverts to human form. The team regroups at the hotel and finds a taunting message from the maid written on the bathroom mirror, signed with her name--Dilemma.
