Gen 13 (Volume 2) #50 is an issue of the series Gen 13 (Volume 2) with a cover date of April, 2000.

Synopsis for "Over My Dead Body"

Fairchild wakes up chained to a printing press with Lynch standing over her.  He reveals his intent to kill Rainmaker, and she realizes he is not really Lynch.  Back at the hotel, Grunge sees a TV news report showing Sarah chained to a pillar in Central Park surrounded by a freak storm.  He wakes up Bobby, and they find Roxy tied up in her room.  Meanwhile, Caitlin is surprised when Helspont frees her. Speaking slang and acting uncharacteristically helpful, he drives her toward Central Park in his “Helspontmobile” and explains that the ersatz Lynch is using Rainmaker to create a devastating superstorm called a hypercane.  The rest of the team finds the park iced over and the fake Lynch holding Sarah hostage. He drops his disguise and reveals himself as TAO.  With Sarah’s powers raging out of control, he gives them the choice of killing her and saving the world or letting her live and her powers destroy civilization. Just then, Fairchild enters the fray and subdues TAO.  But, she quickly finds Helspont has double-crossed her by abducting Rainmaker. The team tracks him to a boat and attacks him, but he fends them off.  TAO grabs Sarah and takes her to a bridge.  Helspont is waiting for him, but TAO knocks him out.  TAO threatens to kill Sarah as Gen 13 arrives, but Grunge causes him to have a mental breakdown by blurting out nonsensical, childish taunts. The team frees Sarah and wonders what happened to the real Lynch.  Elsewhere, Earl lies unconscious in a hospital.  Two days later, Michael Monday voices his longing for Caitlin while curled up in the lap of his mother, Helga Kleinman.
