Synopsis for "The Fairchild Trilogy part 3: Gen-Inactive"
In New York, Roxy goes for a walk in the park with Dr. Paul Vanderwould. At the Project Genesis compound, Helga Kleinman reveals herself to Fairchild and divulges that Michael Monday is her son. Michael himself steps out of the shadows, and Helga explains that he absorbed energy from other Gen-Actives, so much so that it killed him. She and Ivana revived him in a cloned body, sent him away, and erased him from the other Gen-Actives' memories, including from Caitlin's. Recently, the accelerator drug used to revive him began to dissipate, and Helga pushed Michael toward Fairchild to absorb her energy and so prolong his life. This is what took away Caitlin's powers. Helga is about to kill Caitlin when Michael tells her to stop and Ivana Baiul enters with a squad of Keepers. Baiul moves to kill Helga, but Michael stands in her way and battles her and her Keepers. Baiul kills him and is ready to kill Helga when Caitlin intervenes. In exchange for sparing Helga's life and restoring her powers, Caitlin agrees to do Baiul a favor, without question, in the future. Later, her powers returned, Fairchild returns to New York and rejoins Gen 13.
