Synopsis for "Fire on High"

Aboard a sailboat Anna rented for them, the team teases Burnout for his inability to destroy a flying, mechanical beachball target. Anna identifies a damaged jet flying overhead.  Eager to prove himself, Bobby flies off to intercept the plane, accidentally incinerating his clothes in the process.  He enters through a hole in the fuselage to find a hulking, spiny criminal called Melanoma forcing the plane owner to electronically transfer funds into his accounts.  Before Burnout can intervene, he is subdued by Melanoma’s partner, Alan Walker, who has the ability to manipulate neurochemistry.  Despite Walker’s assault, Bobby manages to set the man’s pants on fire. Melanoma moves to attack, but he is distracted by a young woman shouting from outside the plane.  Burnout exploits the opportunity and blasts Melanoma and Walker out of the plane.  The woman introduces herself as Leslie and invites Bobby to an upcoming party exclusively for superhumans.
