Gen 13 (Volume 4) #25 is an issue of the series Gen 13 (Volume 4) with a cover date of February, 2009.
Synopsis for "Teenage Wasteland - Part 5: 15 Minutes of Lame"
Just as Dominic reveals his intention to rape Roxy, he underestimates her in which she then uses her powers to violently levitate Dominic up to the mall's glass ceiling. Dominic begs Roxy for mercy, but his desperate cries fall on deaf ears as Roxy sends him higher, forcing out of the ceiling and into the stormy sky.
Meanwhile, Grunge has made an ill attempt of turning his body into candy as a horde of hungry rats attempt to eat him. Then his situation worsens as the rats mutate from being exposed to the storm, turning them into Incubite rats and they pile on Grunge.
Sarah, Caitlin, and Bobby are still with the group of refugees they let into the mall. Bobby continues to test his new ability to see things in infrared and notices something strange in the bodies of the refugees.
Roxy waits for Dominic to fall back down and see if he's learned his lesson. But to her horror, Dominic does indeed come back down but is now mutated into an Incubite due to being exposed to the storm. The same thing happens to the refugees, who were similarly exposed to the storm before entering the mall, forcing Caitlin, Sarah and Bobby to run for their lives.
Grunge continues his battle against the mutant rats. Thinking he's found a way to outsmart them, Grunge finds what he thinks is a piece of gum. He decides that it will be harder for them to eat him if he absorbs it. Unfortunately, he quickly finds that it is not gum, but taffy that he has absorbed.
Roxy and the others continue their fight against the Incubties. One of the Incubites throws up blood on Caitlin. After fifteen minutes pass the Incubites explode but Bobby is able to incinerate them as they do, thus not spreading the infection. Grunge survives the rat attack by absorbing a jawbreaker and Roxy helps him finish off the rats.
After scavenging supplies from the mall, the team decides that their best chance to find a more safer place is the town of Tranquility. Grunge suggests that on the way they stop at some of their favorite places. Unsurprisingly, he picks a place to go skate-boarding. After the teens left the mall, the child Megan and the toddler Dr. Cross arrive. Megan deduces what happened there upon seeing Incubite corpses.
As Gen 13 begins their journey, Caitlin shows signs of being sick.
