Gene Day (b. August 13, 1951 – d.September 23, 1982) was a writer.
Professional History
Gene Day was a Canadian comic book artist. He began his career working for independent comic book companies in Canada. He was then hired by Marvel Comics and after working in some of their most famous titles, he was hired by DC Comics to work in the title Tales of the Teen Titans.
Gene's last published work for DC prior to his untimely death was the cover of Detective Comics #527.
Personal History
Gene died of a coronary disease at the age of 31.
