Personal History

George Pérez is largely considered one of the most prolific and sought after artists working in comics today. He is mostly recognized for his contributions to the New Teen Titans and the continuity reboot project known as the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

In addition, he is also hailed for revitalizing Wonder Woman to the point where Patty Jenkins, director of the successful 2017 Wonder Woman feature film, considers his work on the character on par with the character's original creator, William Moulton Marston. This article pertains to George's DC contributions only.

On January 18, 2019, Pérez announced his retirement.[1]
