George Pratt (b. October 13, 1960) is a writer.
Professional History
George Pratt is an American painter and illustrator and occasional comic book artist. His firt work in comic books was in 1981 working for Eclipse Enterprises in the title Eclipse. Some years later, he was hired by Epic Comics to work on the title Moonshadow and a short time later he was hired by Marvel Comics.
His first work for DC Comics was in the title Action Comics in 1988. He moved on to work on titles as Batman; Detective Comics and his most iconic run in the storyline Batman: Shaman in the title Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight.
He is currently retired from the comic book industry and works as an independent artist, although he contributed for DC Comics' imprint Vertigo in 2014.
Personal History
Pratt moved to New York at the age of 19 to study drawing and painting at the Pratt Institute.
