Captain George Spiniker was the witty captain of a submarine, and later, of a ship known as the Lollypop.

Arctic Circle

Searching for the North Pole, Captain Spiniker went in his submarine on an expedition to the Arctic Circle, he instead found Captain Sternpipe of the Lollypop.[1] After a few ill encounters with Sternpipe, his submarine was destroyed.[2] Yet Spiniker used his wits to take over the Lollypop, relegating Sternpipe to second-in-command, then he commanded the ship to head south for the winter.[3]

Pheu Pheu Island

Spiniker and Sternpipe arrived to Pheu Pheu Island, a tropical paradise with lush vegetation and friendly natives.[4] The pair became very fond of the island, and even fought to defend it from hostile forces.[5] While recovering a sunken treasure in the island's lagoon, Spiniker suffered a concussion.[6] Out of his senses, he took control of the island and organized an Olympics Game.[7] He quickly came back to his botanical interests though, and his friend Sternpipe proved his loyalty when he stopped two mutineers from stealing his treasure.[8]
